Let me cry tonight

http://www.mymodernmet.com

Let me cry tonight
I am a mere shadow
that coils your soul
my face is forgotten
which was etched in many hearts

Let me cry tonight
my voice doesn’t echo
which sang poetry
my songs fed barren hearts
as others fed mine

Let me cry tonight
no more colours flash in my eyes
which were once deep with them
like smoke I drift aimlessly
between bleak lives

Let me cry tonight
I am a bewildered spirit
eclipsed by my anonymity
threatening to efface my identity
of being existent

Let me cry tonight

We will Stand

Obstacles may come
climbing over mountains
sorrows may come
flying in the air
tears may come
crossing the seas
they might enter our souls
they might hurt our souls
but they cannot imprison our souls
for our souls are our own
death is the only obstacle
sorrow
tears
we can’t fight
whatever happens
we will take our stand
happiness is expensive
but smiles still come cheap
we know
someday we will get
what we deserve
is rightfully ours-
peace

HAPPY HEAVENS

The heaven must be happy today
blue sky
birds fly as the rainbow
drinks from the river beyond
the light drizzle tickles my face
as it tickles my soul
ah my soul!
captive of my body
one day would be free
to fly with the bird
slide on rainbows
drink from river beyond
what will this world remember of me then?
