No new year resolutions
I reflect on:
new grey hair
unused hair colour;
extra flab around my waist
unworn tracks in the wardrobe;
torn shoes by the door
folded map in my back pack;
read books on the shelf
unread books yet to be read;
letters on the study table,
half complete and half enveloped.
Another year will pass by
there will be things done
and things still undone.
The reflection will repeat,
still, there will be no resolutions.
