Block (blog) Again

Words find no place in my heart
smashed pumpkins kindle no desire
for poems to breath on my blog
stories of joy and sorrow have forgotten
to appear on my page
I hang on the smoke of vague ideas
hoping to rejuvenate love for a dead man
in folktales to see his ghost
in the ruins of the past
where he avenged the death of his love
to feel heaven in spring
and I am still counting sheep

  1. Amazing words – I really love your awesome imagery 😀

Like Charles, I keep pen and paper close to hand and write those vague ideas down…and when I’m more awake / in tune, I craft them into something readable (or at least try to!) xx

  2. While counting sheep, you’re doing just great amiga. This was so lovely to read, I like very much “I hang on the smoke of vague ideas, hoping to rejuvenate love for dead man …” we all do that sometimes, until we stop. Time heals everything!
