Impermanence spreads icy cold wings
death creeps in at unexpected moments
dark shadows loom in every man
a heart can only wonder and wander
to find substance in a sunless life
I write for my pleasure and amusement because, in words I find comfort and happiness.
I’m really glad i helped a bit , the rich words make up for the short length , its short and awesome!!
Sad that those who elect to live a goodly life must work so hard just to existence..fine poem.
